Francesca Jones has suffered a full body cramp and has been forced to withdraw from the Australian Open.
The 21-year-old made her competitive comeback in Auckland last week after almost nine months out.
But she was left in floods of tears as she was forced to withdraw from the tournament.
"Obviously it is a tough situation," said Jones.
“I've been working really hard to get back to where I am and I'm just gutted that I've had to pull out.”
Jones has faced a number of challenges in her fledgling career.
She revealed that she suffered a similar attack in April.
“It's been a tough year, but I'm determined to come back stronger than ever," she said.
